Toward A New Understanding of Collectivist Socialism
This combination of text and video works focus on a new understanding of collectivist socialism. I consider myself to be a true socialist, which means that it is based in individualism where free will, free choice and freedom of expression are essential in order for socialism to operate for the collective benefit. Humans are Manichean in nature, where we have both an individualist sense and a collectivist sense, and where our psyches are formed through a conscious and unconscious self. Since the Industrial Revolution there has been a disturbing push toward collectivist socialism and I believe that this is rooted in our inherent selfishness as species and the penchant that many people have for malice as a means of controlling self-worth and self-esteem. SJW ideology is the epitome of this condition.
