Roman Charity - Philosophy
Roman Charity is a character much like Winston Smith or Tyler Durden. His words, ideas and thoughts are as connected to the real life author as Smith is to Orwell, Sawyer to Twain, and so on. We do not contend that Mark Twain was a racist because some of his characters were, nor do we approach Brad Pitt with apprehension believing that he might be plotting arson on credit card company corporate headquarters. Such beliefs would be irrational because they conflate fiction/fantasy and reality. What is presented at LowBrowsing are the works of characters devised by a single author who expressions unique concerns in the current historical epoch, that some have unimaginatively dubbed, "post-human", but which this author refers to as the SANDBOX OF THE REAL.
