Top 13 Southern Tracks...
I really got into Goodie M.O.B. with their debut album, meanwhile most of my buddies were listening to Outkast. Those were Atlanta rappers, but the Southern rap scene really exploded after that, especially through Master P. I remember finding the No Limit album covers really tacky and for me it was a culture with infantile values. So, I tapped out on Southern rap, but I have found some tracks over the years that I find pretty damn catchy and well-produced. I probably need more exposure to the developments coming out of the South because there is a lot of territory to cover. So, this is a list of those tracks in no particular order, and always with the caveat that everything on my website is about my personal taste.
