A collection of comic book scripts that I have written since 2010.
Precis: At FanExpo 2013, I met Peter Steigerwald and had a conversation with him while he was at the Aspen booth working on a commission. That conversation gave me an idea and I went home and began to write. Eight hours later I had this script complete. I printed it out and submitted it to Peter – put it right in his hand. Unfortunately, I never heard back from him about it. I still like this story and believe that it is a testament to my ability as a writer… what you see is what I came up with on the fly, in eight hours with only editing happening during the writing process. After working with Daniel Rodrigo and David Gunawan on separate comic books, I now know that this script would be a lot longer than a 22-page comic… more like a 48-page comic. If I ever catch a break, one day I hope to polish this script up and produce it as a comic. I am also very serious about rewriting it as a short story.
"Shiv & Shroud #1"
Shiv & Shroud has been designed as a mini-series and presents the W.A.R. Universe to the public through introducing some of its darker and more brooding super-powered heroes - Mr. Jingle and Nooey. The primary villain for the mini-series is the hulking, Bear Ramage. The story takes place in Chicago playing out some of the tropes of old school gangster stories along with a focus on the cloak-and-dagger hero pairing. Mr. Jingle is an assassin-shapeshifter while Nooey controls anyone in their sleep. Separately driven by vengeance and a need for purpose, this cloak-and-dagger pair with dark powers unite in order to dismantle the criminal syndicate cell that is part of a larger empire.

"Aphrodite 0" (or Aphrodite Zero)
This comic script was put together for the Top Cow talent search. I didn't place which was super disappointing. However, the script was extremely well-researched and presents a possible origins for the Aphrodite project. I reference familiar historical events and believe that this brings an epic quality as well as making the script fun to read. Any artist that finds this script and is interested in producing sequentials should contact me. I would very much like to collaborate.
